When reading articles and poetry in the slave section, it is helpful to view it as a peek into the minds of slaves, rather than direct commentary. The reason this is mentioned is that some of the writings may contain opinions expressed in a way that would not be appropriate for directly addressing the free, or even posted in a mixed forum. Please remember that you are, in effect, glimpsing into the slaves' "private chambers".
